One of Jessica's significant achievements was her exceptional work managing the strata complex at 65 Milligan Street, Perth - a Heritage Listed building that was in dire need of window replacements as part of its 10-year maintenance plan.
The Strata company was facing significant costs, and seeking funds under the Heritage Council's Heritage Grants Programme was a diligent financial decision.
Jessica effectively communicated with the strata company the benefits of this grant, held various discussions, meetings with the Council of owners, strata owners and put an action plan in place.
With her tireless dedication on the compilation of numerous documents, minutes, application forms, and the constant work with her clients, the application was successful in the Heritage Council's 2022/2023 Heritage Grants Programme awarding the complex with a $40,000.00 sum to complete the works.
Having already come so far in her strata management career, while Jess is thankful for her recognition, she knows she will keep pushing to learn and improve.
“It’s such an honour to be recognised by my peers and colleagues, but earning this award will just motivate me even further to be the best strata manager I can, and continue to develop my skills, knowledge and expertise in the industry,” Ms. Wilkes said.
